Flexible Services on Your Terms

The best home care combines

expertise and heart

COMPANION CARE

Hello Home Care’s companion care services offer emotional support, socialization and the assistance adults need to manage daily tasks.

HOSPICE CARE AT HOME

Hospice is not a place but rather a way of caring that brings comfort to people at the end of life and offers support and understanding to their families. Hospice Care at home helps people with life-limiting illnesses remain pain-free, nourished by the support of their loved ones.

PERSONAL CARE

Personal care refers to care that is of personal nature. Our caregivers can assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene assistance, incontinence care, and more.

MEAL PLANNING AND COOKING

we can prepare meals for our beloved seniors. Your care plan will contain food preferences which we'll use as our guidelines to ensure you are eating healthy nutritious meals.

HOUSEKEEPING

We all know a house requires a fair bit of effort if you want to keep a tidy home. Our caregivers can help with general household upkeep.

RESPITE CARE

When a loved one needs care, it’s natural for you to want to take on the responsibility. But, caring for your parent, sibling, spouse or other loved one is no small feat. Trying to manage their care while juggling the other responsibilities in your life can wear on you both physically and mentally. You know this, and so do we.

HOME CARE AIDES

Home care aides is a term that can be used interchangeable with home care caregivers. They provide everything from companionship to basic (home) assistance.

LIVE-IN OR 24 HOURS HOME CARE

24 Hr Home Care of seniors offers a higher standard to accommodate the unique situations of our clients and their families. Live-In care is technically a different arrangement but can also meet the needs of some seniors.

ALZHEIMER'S AND DEMENTIA MEMORY CARE

Sometimes it takes a bit more to make the best of things. Our speciality programs are designed to care for those with Alzheimer's and Dementia.

CARE FOR LOVED ONES

OUR PROCESS

You and your loved ones might have visualized life at home to include a family, a pet, outdoor activities, and retiring there. Still, you may not have considered the possibility of in-home care - and that is alright. Not a lot of people do. You could need to revise what living at home appears like.

We believe you’re not just letting someone into your home, but carefully selecting someone to become a part of it. It is exactly that, which separates us from the rest. We understand choosing your private in-home care is one of the most important decisions you will ever make for yourself or a loved one. This is the reason all our caregivers are carefully screened, licensed and insured, and also why you will never get a call center when you call us. We’re a compassionate group of people that love the work we do and the people we do it for.

Getting started is easy

Whether you’re just beginning this journey or already know what you need, we’re here to help.

You share your care needs, then we share our experience and expertise, guiding you and your family along every step of this journey.

Caregiver matching

Our office staff spends a great deal of time and effort evaluating your home care situation and personality requests, and then carefully selects a Caregiver(s) we believe, from our experience, would be the “Right Fit”. For example, some people prefer someone who is talkative, while someone else might like someone a little quieter. Another example is that some people prefer someone who takes direction well, while others require someone more assertive.

If the match isn’t correct the first time, we will find another Caregiver for you. We won’t rest until we find you the “Right Fit”.

A career in Caregiving?

We are always looking for great caregivers.

Fill out our application form. We'll get back to you quickly. Typically within 24 hours.

If your application is accepted, we'll schedule an interview so we can get to know each other.

Finally, if accepted, we'll run a background check and send you a welcome package.

You'll also receive access to our training portal where you can complete mandatory training on our office procedures and policies.

Good Luck!

Frequently Asked Questions

Does having home care result in a loss of independence?

No. Our belief is that independence is being in control of your decisions. Having home care services means being in control of your activities and retaining as much independence as each situation allows. Many of our clients just need a little help to continue living a safe and productive life while some might be recovering from a fall, surgery, or other conditions. Regardless of your situation, our goal is to enable you with the best possible outcome while being in control of your care and daily decisions.

How does Gifted Hands Home Care attract the best caregivers?

Our Golden Rule states that ‘We will not refer a caregiver into your home that we would not welcome into our own home.’ This high bar was set by our founder in 1982 and is the backbone of our mission. Similar to any working professional, caregivers are attracted to organizations that build trust and embody compassion, stability, and hope. We encourage you to meet one of our local Directors and experience how they treat you with as much compassion and dignity as they afford to each caregiver they provide.

How can I trust a caregiver in my home?

Just like nurses and doctors, professional caregivers have chosen a career in compassionate care for those in need.  Gifted Hands Home Care implements a proprietary CareAssure Screening System which includes a comprehensive background check and screening for compassion, identity, integrity, and competence. Less than 5% of all applicants meet our stringent screening criteria. In fact, many Caregivers come from word of mouth referrals from other happy clients.

Gifted Hands Home Care was established out of respect and love for our elders. We pride ourselves in our ability to deliver compassionate care to the elderly.
